AKYI Martial Arts is dedicated to providing top quality Taekwondo classes that help students develop skills and positive traits. Located in Glenview, Illinois, we help students of all ages and skill levels build a strong foundation that leads to positive habits that last a lifetime.

Our academy is led by Master Ray Kyi, a 6th Degree Kukkiwon Certified Black Belt with over 25 years of Taekwondo experience in competing, coaching, and refereeing. As a 2024 World Champion Coach for the Myanmar National Team and World Taekwondo Certified First Class International Referee, Master Ray brings world-class expertise and authentic instruction to the Glenview community—training that develops both physical skills and character.
